Samata sainik Dal

The soldier of Samata Sainik Dal should be called a fearless warrior.:- Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar

On the occasion of today’s annual General Parade of Samata Sainik Dal, I am happy that all the soldiers in Mumbai have gathered in such a large crowd. Also, the demonstration of discipline and self-sacrifice of their organization by coming together here today will be considered as an ideal for the Bahujan Samaj. It is really commendable that everyone is wearing their uniforms with their own money and showing their enthusiasm about the work of this party. There is no doubt that this team is for the benefit of me and my colleagues. But anyone who knows the background of this force will surely realize how noble and brilliant the goal is in setting up this force.
The establishment of this force was done around 1926-27 with the Satyagraha of Chavdar Lake at  Mahad. At that time, there was a great need for such an organized force to carry out the work of Mahada Satyagraha smoothly and successfully. Considering the background of the Samata Sainik Dal that we have set up and considering the overall situation, I did not set up the force for my name, for cheering or for patriarchal work. It is easy to get straight to the battle of North Mahad Lake. Due to the inclusion of untouchables in Hindu society in many religious societies in India, this force has been set up mainly to curb the forms of injustice, oppression, inequality, discrimination and other undesirable forms of untouchability by untouchables in Hindu society.
A society in which humanity cannot live. Natural rights where equality cannot be enjoyed. The religion on which the pest of inequality has invaded. This force has been established for the sacred and glorious work that has to be done to create a religion that knows the true humanity by giving up that religion. This battle of Satyagraha has been won by the Satyagraha of the Chavadar  lake of  Mahad. In this way, where there are universal wells and ponds, we want to do our job by fighting for equal rights. The Satyagraha of Mahad Lake was not carried out with the feeling that you did not get drinking water at all, but the fight was fought for the right of people of all castes, religions and sects to drink water equally. The same goes for the Satyagraha of entering the Kalaram temple in Nashik. We were not hungry just to see God. In the last two thousand years, the untouchable brothers of Hindu gods had not appeared, so the untouchable community was not hindered. The fight for temple entry in Nashik was only to protect the rights of equality in our Hindu community. We are human beings and like other human beings, we do not understand how the temples of Hindus are desecrated due to entering the temples. And we were forced to fight for entry into the Kalaram temple to show that we are real people and not unclean in any way to wash away the filthy stigma of Shivashivi imposed on us by the untouchable Hindus.
Our Samata Sainik Dal was set up to fight the big bright principles in the above way and this is the real premise of our force. It is clear that the formation of this force is not personal. This Samata Sainik Dal has been established to establish true equality in the Hindi society of this country.
The soldier of Samata Sainik Dal should be called a fearless warrior who is ready to fight with his head on his hands for social service. He should fulfill his duty by keeping in mind the bright principle of equality for humanity. For this, everyone will take an oath and will not accept any kind of caste discrimination. Mahar Mang Bhangi is not a discriminator of superiority. I am a man. All should be treated humanely and the poisonous seeds of inequality should be eradicated from the society. He should be a soldier of the Samata Sainik Dal who carries such an arrow. Considering this overall situation, our party is a fighting unit of the backward class front in the war of independence. Keep in mind that you should become the ideal soldier of the country by your every action. Looking at you, you should make a name for yourself in the world in terms of being an excellent example of a military force. When we keep in mind the attitude of pure behavior and equality, we have a saying that, ‘Tavyacha jaay bursa mag to dise arsa’, the situation should arise. The bursa in the tawa has increased due to various conditions. So the frying pan looks black and dirty. But if he tries his best to get rid of all the dirt, he will surely succeed and eventually he will be as clean as a mirror. Also, if the situation has given rise to some undesirable practices in our society, if you are addicted to alcohol, if you are abusing your time and body by eating paan tobacco, you should become cautious at the right time and become a non-addict. In this way no one will accuse you in any way if you control the customs on all kinds of unfortunate occasions. No one will dare to suffer in any way. If you criticize yourself for working with such a bright goal, it will be like an elephant walking and a dog barking.
I am happy to see the work of Samata Sainik Dal succeeding day by day. But seeing this philanthropic work of our party has caused stomach ache to our opponents and critics. Recently in Mumbai, from the Congress government, Ta. An inquiry is underway into the atrocities committed by the police during the one-day general strike on November 6, 1938. It is not at all my intention to criticize her work during this inquiry. But the soldiers who have done a brilliant job of social service till date. Among them, the Chief Minister of Mumbai, Shri Balasaheb Kher and one of the senior leaders of the Congress, Shri Vallabhbhai Patel, have praised him. Replying to a question on the salary of the Mumbai Pradhan Mandal, Kher said, “I am aware of the selfless, self-respecting and disciplined work done by the Samata Sainik Dal volunteers who support the work of the Independent Labor Party.” And if these volunteers can sacrifice themselves in such a brilliant way, then we, the ministers of the Assembly, have no problem in accepting a salary of Rs. 500 per month just for self-sacrifice. The same thing will be proved by the utterance of Shri Vallabhbhai Patel.
Speaking on the occasion of Swayamsevaks in front of Shaniwar Wada in Pune after the last Provincial Assembly elections, Mr. Vallabhbhai Patel said that the Swayamsevaks of the Independent Labor Party would be better than the Swayamsevaks of the Congress considering the movement for disciplinary work and the threat to make it a success. And these are the special qualities that other volunteers must try to assimilate. Our Samata Sainik Dal has 90 per cent Mahar youth. If we look at the history of the British government from the beginning of the implementation of the ordinance, there are Mahar people who pay the ryota money to the taluka treasury. In the last 150-200 years, there is no evidence that any Mahar has shown dishonesty in this regard. Mahars have shown their sincerity to the world by depositing thousands of rupees in the government coffers. Considering all these things, Mahars are being accused of dishonesty and non-discipline before the workers’ strike inquiry committee in Mumbai. It will not be long before the time comes to ascertain how true they are. In this poverty stricken society, a person cannot commit fraud in any way when he has thousands of rupees in his hand. I don’t have to praise how bright the character of this Mahar community is. The people are able to think of all these things. Similarly, some volunteers working in the Samata Sainik Dal have been employed in the ministerial department. They are well versed in the discipline of law.
Finally, I would like to say to every soldier that the word soldier is very important. It is a word that proves that you are definitely not a marketer. While doing your duty, you should keep in mind that you are all in real life. We have to keep in mind that we are soldiers while taking proper care of the huge crowd that gathers during the meeting. There is a huge difference between the way people act and the way you act. For this, the soldier said, it means that the disciplined person will not go wrong by resisting the order of an officer. All I want to tell you is to fulfill your resolve to face all kinds of situations with courage and courageous social service from now on.
